For some children, tonight is uncertain. Grandma’s Place is ready for them.
Every year, more than 100 children — some just days old — arrive at our shelter after being removed from unsafe homes. They come frightened, with nothing. What they find here is a warm bed, a hot meal, a caring adult, and for many, the first real sense of safety they have ever known.
Your gift reaches beyond the shelter, too. It supports parents of children with special needs who are exhausted and isolated — who need training, a mentor, or simply a few hours of reliable respite care to keep their family intact.
Grandma’s Place is not a large institution. We are a small, accredited, community-rooted nonprofit operating around the clock on a carefully managed budget. Every dollar goes directly to the children and families we serve — to the shelter that never closes, the staff who never leave, the meals, the therapies, the school supplies, and the small dignities that remind a child they matter.
