Respite Care
Caring for a child with special needs is truly a labor of love—and like all acts of love, it requires moments of rest and renewal. When caregivers are stretched thin, exhausted, or facing an unexpected gap in support, the well-being of the entire family can be affected.
Grandma's Place Respite Care exists to bridge that gap, providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can thrive while their caregivers recharge.
Who We Serve
Our Respite Care program serves children from birth through age 12 with mild to moderate special needs, including developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and other behavioral or physical challenges. We welcome children from all backgrounds. Our staff works closely with each family to understand their child’s needs, preferences, and routines — and meets every child with patience, warmth, and individualized attention. These services are underwritten and funded through the generosity of Palm Beach County.
