Grandma’s Place 2nd Annual Holiday Luncheon

Tuesday, November 29th, 140 of Grandma’s Place long-time supporters and new friends gathered at The Beach Club in Palm Beach to attended their 2nd Annual Holiday Luncheon.  Guests enjoyed a wine reception in The Garden Room as they actively bid on over 275 fabulous silent auction items.

The doors opened to the ballroom and guests were awed by the beautiful red & white candy cane topiary centerpieces.  When guests sat down they were serenaded by international recording artist and Italian singing sensation, Franco Corso. Celebrity emcee Liz Quirantes, Channel 12 News Anchor, welcomed guests and talked about her deep commitment to the children in our community and reminded them that is was #GivingTuesday. Valerie Siefert, Board Chair, and Michele Poole, presented gifts and roses to Honorary International Chair Herme de Wyman Miro, Honorary Chair Elayne Flamm, and Event Co-Chairs Lou Ann Wilson Swan and Joan O’Connell.  Joan thanked Committee Members in attendance and asked that they stand to be recognized for the incredible job they did, which included Missy Agnello, Judy Barron, Richard Gaff, Eryn Grill, Patti Hadden, Eleanor Jones, Dina Rubio, Everett Simon, Deanna Stepanian, and George Swan, Jr.  Then Gene Paul Stifter, GM of The Bath & Tennis Club and one of newest Grandma’s Place Board Members, gave a very heart-felt presentation about why he became involved with the organization.  As guests dined on filet mignon, they were entertained with informal modeling by SOCAPRI and a live auction emceed by Neil Saffer and his wife Trish, of Saffer & Company.

Some of the guests in attendance were Alfredo Versace, Beverlee Miller Raymond, Mary Liguori, Keren Gee and Lexye Aversa.
